What can happen in a year? A whole lot! But not a lot of blogging, as you can see. Not that anyone really sees this, but any way! Olive is 20 months old, and a crazy girl! She recently got tubes in both ears, then a case of croup. So, hopefully this is it for the rest of the year! We as a family usually get all the pain and suffering out of the way in the beginning of the year! LOL! But really, not much else has happened this year. Our lives are pretty much dominated by Olive. She is so fun, but sometimes mean, but always the prettiest girl in the world. :)

Long time, no type.
SO, it's been almost a year since I clicked away here at the blogiddy-blog. Lots has happened, some bad, but one AWESOME thing.
OLIVE LEIGH STEWART
Born July 25, 2009
She is the best thing in the whole entire world. As sweet as pie. She does, however, have quite a little attitude of her own. She is big now, and is almost one.
Bad news...well, who wants to hear all the bad news for a whole year? There was plenty, but lets just say, we are on our way to recovery. I broke my leg and ankle in February, and am learning to walk again, right in time, before Olive!
Ok, So, I'll leave you with this, my Monkey is growing 2 teethers....so she's bananas!!!

4 More Weeks!

Well, now we are officially in the home stretch! I'm 36 weeks along, and counting down. Can't wait to meet our new little baby, Baby Stew. We enjoyed our time in Hilton Head immensely, though we had to cut it short due to my high blood pressure. I blame the dogs, I felt better, and it went down, once we got them out of the kennel. Stinkin' dogs, I love them too much! We have the room finished, and boy was it a job! We had to take down the remaining wall paper in the house. Who invented that stuff, it is the Devil!!! But the room looks great, just needs a little one in it to make it complete! I'm starting to get a little nervous, righfully so, I'm going to bring a little one in the world, a new person, and currently, it lives inside my body. No pressure. Wish Us Luck!!!

Just an Update.
Nothing much new is going on. But I'd never blog if I waited for something incredible to happen! I have a bunch of housework to do, and have to prepare for baby Stew! We have to take down wall paper in the baby room, which we have been avoiding like the plague, and paint. Poor Jason, he'll have to paint alone. The room needs a lot of work. We have to clean out all of our closets and switch things around so there is room for the babies clothes and a place to put our bed! This is not a surprise, but we have been procrastinating for such a long time, that we have 3 months to get it all done. I can't believe how far along I am, 26 weeks. It seems like it has gone by so fast on one hand, but I feel like I have been pregnant forever on the other! We are heading to Hilton Head on the 2nd for a babymoon. Our last official vacation with no kids. I'm looking forward to it so much. I am trying to get as much alone time with Jason as possible, I enjoy my time with him so much, and hope we can maintain a bit of normalcy when baby Stew arrives! Well, must finish laundry.....booo!

So, again we have slacked, so much so that all kinds of stuff has passed by! We had our 2 year anniversary on October 20th. We celebrated at The Precinct. It is our very favorite restaurant. SO GOOD. If you haven't been there, I'd suggest it. Then there was Halloween. It was pimps and ho's. I was the ho. And following that evening....We finally got pregnant!!! I was so super sick for 4 months straight. Then I got pneumonia. That stunk. But now we are 25 weeks in, and things are looking good! We decided not to find out if we are having a boy or a girl, so we'll have to wait until July to find out. July 27th is our due date. Wish us luck!

Sicky Faces
So we have just recently started this blog, and instantly started to slack! In our defense, we've been sick. I don't know where it came from, but I do know when you work at Starbucks like I do, no one cares, they only want their daily fuel of caffeine. Jerks. So I leave you with a picture of how I feel.....a dog butt.

Bloggin' Virgins
So, here we are, all new to the blog world! We'll have to get it together, and make interesting posts! We have a lot to live up to, seeing as Pastor Ryan is our hero, and he has a wicked one...so hang in there with us!!
We are a happily married couple, Jason and Shannon. We have been married 2 years, but friends for 11 and counting. No babies yet, just our dogs, but we love them as much as I can imagine loving a baby! They are the cute things you see above. Jefferson Davis Boss Hog Stewart is the handsome fawn doberman to the left. He is 9, and crotchety, he goes just by Boss. Lu Lu is the sweetest thing God has ever created. She is a vicious scary Pit Bull. Ha!! Not really, she is honestly the most gentle girl ever. I promise, you can come over and I'll prove it. Jason loves photography and sports. I like to cook and garden, but this is new, I used to hate it, but have become quite domestic. So, that's that, it will get better......I hope it does, I have quite high hopes for myself in this bloggin' thing!
